What is Help the House?
Help the House is a church-wide project to renovate and improve our ICA ministry spaces. We are seeing God do amazing things in and through our community, and we believe God is calling us to do even bigger things. This renovation is part of our church's vision to improve our ability to reach our community and to share Jesus with the people of Tokyo. It will also allow us to better meet the needs of our church family and make ICA a place that your whole family loves to come to.
Project Goal: ¥5,000,000
What will the project consist of?
Here are just a few of the awesome changes that are coming:
- New flooring and wallpaper
- New sound system for worship services
- A private nursery area for families with babies
- Newly renovated bathrooms
- A cafe area for connecting with each other and university students throughout the week
- A small administration office for our ICA Team
- Improved storage areas
How can you get involved?
Help the House is a huge step of faith for ICA, but we believe that together we can make a difference. This is an opportunity for you to invest in the Kingdom of God and to increase the eternal impact that our ICA community is having in Tokyo and worldwide.
Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.

Because God loves a cheerful giver, we believe that no one should be guilted into giving. God has been incredibly generous to us and in reflection of His character we are called to also be generous. We are simply asking you and your family to pray about what God would have you give towards Help the House. It's not the amount that is important, but the people that will affected by your gift. Whether small or large, we believe that everyone can participate in this and contribute to the next phase of ministry at ICA.

- At our weekend worship experience Sundays at 11am (special Help the House envelopes are provided for you)
